MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND– “Cars, Guitars & Cigars” hosted by Calvert Cigar Company with Farmers-To-Market Coffee and Under the Chandelier. Car Cruise-in begins at 5pm, Calvert Cigar Company celebrates the grand opening of the cigar bar & lounge. Live music will be held at Under The Chandelier in the Drennan & Randolph building. The Historic Lone Oak Lounge

Calvert, Texas hosts an annual Juneteenth Festival on June 20 at the W.D. Spigner Alumni Center (800 W. Texas Street). The community-wide event features an afternoon and evening of festivities. 

Features the annual Mr. & Ms. W.D. Spigner Pageant (for ages 5-7), along with local food, community gatherings, and cultural celebrations honoring African American heritage.
